The Studio

Ira Lippke Studios is a New York–based award-winning creative collective of globally minded photographers and filmmakers who infuse their work with a distinctly contemporary documentary approach to wedding photography. With backgrounds in fine art, photojournalism and fashion, each image-maker captures the event with a unique sensitivity to form, light and style—no matter whether the location is in New York or New Delhi.

In addition to being marked by their common creative vision, Ira Lippke Studios photographers are also intrepid travelers who have lived abroad and frequently work internationally, whether shooting high-end weddings in Paris or Bali or documenting the relief work of developing-world organizations in Africa or Latin America.

Originally founded in Los Angeles in 1993, Ira Lippke Studios moved to New York in 2007 and is now based in a waterfront loft overlooking the Manhattan skyline in the vibrant artistic community of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
