Reuben Hernandez – Wedding Films
Since he first started making films, Reuben Hernandez’s cinematography has been marked by an interest in innovative shooting techniques and lively storytelling. Influenced by filmmakers like Ron Fricke, who directed Samsara and Baraka, Reuben enjoys the way that film stock, time-lapse photography, aerial cinematography, slow-motion techniques, and shooting from a variety of unique angles can imbue a shoot with a sense of wonder and surprise. Consequently, he has become a favorite with couples who desire a dynamic, energetic approach to wedding-day filmmaking.
When he is not working with Ira Lippke Studios, Reuben has been the director of photography for such projects as Exposed, an award winning documentary film series about tuberculosis that was filmed in the UK, South Africa, India, and the US, and screened at the UN. His work has also been featured on the Discovery Channel and has premiered at Tropfest NY, the world’s largest short film festival. Reuben is currently a Photographer in Residence onboard the M/S Expedition ship in the Arctic and Antarctic regions, and freelances for The New York Times.
Reuben’s filmmaking packages begin at $8,000. For more information and to check Reuben’s availability, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
