Vendor Feature: Blue Hill at Stone Barns
Once part of the Rockefeller estate, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, located in Westchester County, is a favorite venue amongst our brides and grooms, and one of our most beloved places to photograph. Just 30 miles north of New York City, the setting is a welcomed respite from the bustling metropolis, and offers a natural and idyllic setting for the most important day in a couple’s life together.
Blue Hill at Stone Barns offers their clients tailor-made experiences, which is why we have enjoyed partnering with them so frequently. We share a common appreciation for quality, and value the preservation of authentic experiences, something that we strive towards every day.
Stone Barns can accommodate both the ceremony (indoors or out) and the reception, which is held in the HayLoft – an impressive building with an arched roof and exposed beams, stone walls, and large windows. They also offer an event planning team that can assist in all aspects of coordinating your wedding, making what can often be an overwhelming task seamless and simplified. Better yet, Stone Barns is a working four-season farm, where ingredients are grown on-site or procured from local farms. So not only can nature’s bounty be enjoyed visually, but you can taste it (we’ll allow the photos to speak to that)! From florals to food, Stone Barns can handle it all.
With its lush green hills and so much rustic charm, one might be hard-pressed to name a setting more romantic. We never find ourselves struggling for inspiration here. Stone Barns sets the perfect scene for capturing all of the precious, emotional, and fun moments of a couple’s special day.
