Taryn & Sam, The Rainbow Room, NYC
Taryn and Sam’s wedding took place on a beautiful Spring afternoon that was suffused with light and love. Before joining their friends and family for the big event, the couple strolled hand-in-hand through Central Park and enjoyed the feeling of the sun softly filtering through the trees. Taryn was so clearly enjoying this shared moment that she wasn’t worried about keeping her dress spotless on the winding pathways of the park—or on Fifth Avenue, for that matter, where the couple walked on their way to the Rainbow Room.
Big love was the rule of the day, though sometimes it came in small packages—notably a flock of festively attired children who brought an extra dose of cheerful energy to the event. The ceremony itself took place at “magic hour,” that golden moment just before sunset when light transforms the room to something almost otherworldly. Taryn and Sam exchanged vows under sprawling cherry blossom branches, their love for each other evident to all in the room.
The Rainbow Room’s recently renovated ballroom provided the backdrop for an absolutely joyful reception. Marianne Bennett and Element Music brought their best to the party and even inspired some of Sam’s closest friends to sing “Sammy B. Goode,” their version of the Chuck Berry classic.
It was such a pleasure to be a part of Taryn and Sam’s special day. We had so much fun following them around, capturing every sweet exchange.
Congratulations, Taryn and Sam!
