At the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Katherine & Christopher had an Eastern Orthodox wedding ceremony which, apart from just looking gorgeous, includes ancient rituals with meaningful symbolism. One ritual is called The Crowning, in which the bride and groom are crowned by garland wreaths that are joined by a single ribbon, signifying unity between the couple. Unity definitely describes these two; Katherine & Christopher have a natural ease and connectedness with one another.

Perhaps one of the most noticeable components of Katherine & Christopher’s day was their huge wedding party (or wedding “army,” as Katherine fondly refers to them); 15 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen. We think this is indicative of how loved they are – something that was evident throughout their entire day, and especially at their reception. What transpired at Cipriani 42nd Street was a true celebration – so much dancing, and so much laughter!

The entire event was gorgeous; coordinated by Ellen at Sidekick Events, and designed by Mark Rose Flowers & Events. We had so much fun and loved being a part of Katherine & Christopher’s special day.

Congratulations, Katherine & Christopher! Na zisete!
