Joanna’s Italian Vogue Editorial: This is Afropunk
No Sexism, No Racism, No Ableism, No Homophobia, No Fatphobia, No Transphobia, No Hatefulness.
Joanna Toto uses the popular Afropunk Festival as backdrop for her latest fashion editorial for Italian Vogue: Vogue.it
“It really didn’t matter who you are…upon entering the festival, the positive energy and vibe was palpable and everyone at the very packed venue became one! Despite the thick crowd, the six statuesque high-fashion clad models could not help but command attention from the throngs of festival goers and, as a result, each image had to be captured incredibly fast and without being distracted from the all the stimuli, not much unlike shooting a bride and groom in busy Central Park on a beautiful sunny day!“ said our very own, Joanna.
